Crystal Cheng is a queer self-taught artist from NYC who has always had an immense passion for learning and creating things. After graduating early with a Philosophy degree and then being thrust into a tedious corporate environment for almost two years, she decided to leave the office life in order to pursue her real dream since childhood- making art. Her goal is to create work that evokes feeling in the observer, provokes a sense of intimacy, and also to use art as form of therapy and expression.

Crystal is heavily inspired by human emotions (she has a lot of them), nature, sensuality, horror, and also the art of tattooing. She believes that skin would be the ultimate medium to conquer, and wants to keep exploring different forms of art for the rest of her life.
